The Ongoing Adventures of Our Story Book Life

Obviously, I have not blogged for a while.  I suppose that is one of the consequences of LIFE happening at full tilt! So, here's the 10 peso version of events since last we met:
*Our princess Nedra has married her prince and lives in the land west of the mountains.  A young heir is due to enter their lives at Christmastide.
*Barak, the Dreadful Bear, has joined the military forces of the country. He has been injured and awaits his next adventure.
*Silk is still master of disguise and voice. He currently sharpens his skills at college along with his fellow spy (and possibly future bride), Velvet.
*Eriond is growning nicely, entering that most tumultuous of seasons, puberty.  He is facing the challenges of growing squarely on. His combat skills are also sharpening-with the illusive attainment of the Belt of Black soon to be achieved.
*Garion, our Child of Light, is still growing and engaging on new adventures daily.  He constantly confounds Polgara and Belgarath with his ever changing ability to get into some new troubles and lead everyone on a merry chase.
*Belgarath, that clever old Wolf, is still out and about on his journeys.  We cherish the times he graces our courtyard with stories of his adventures about the land. 
*As for I, Polgara, Mistress of Hearth and Home, I still keep everyone in line.  It is truly hard work to educate Garion and Eriond, all the while keeping them out of the worst of troubles.  As boys, they still squabble, but tend to spend much time in the courtyard, working on sword work and defense skills. I have learned the magic of the word "NO", and have been enjoying decluttering the castle.
